SEN Casework Officers – Ref: CH07716
£24,717 - £29,033 per annum

Fixed term contract for 12-months

The main purpose of this job is to carry out the casework associated with the Statutory Assessment process including:

  • Collation of advice supplied (from e.g. Parents, Schools, Health and Social Care) to write an Education Health and Care Plan
  • Support families, children and schools involved in the statutory process
  • Multi-agency liaison

To carry out this role you will require:

  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral
  • Knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice and the needs of children relating to this
  • Ability to work flexibly; proceed by negotiation; be solution focused; work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience of report writing
