Job Title: Registered Manager Hillside Contract: Permanent Location: Hillside Care Centre, Hereford Hours: 37 hours per week Salary: £33,782 - £37,890 Closing date: 24th September 2021 Interview: week commencing 27th September 2021 Hillside Care Centre is a flagship service for the Council. Hillside Care Centre is a 22 bedded Discharge to Assess Facility catering for Herefordshire Residents who have been discharged from hospital and require bedded care support whilst they are assessed to move to their long term home. Herefordshire Council promotes the ethos that people should live independently in their own homes. As the Registered Manager for Hillside, your role will be exciting and varied – you could be delivering rehabilitation, supporting residents with Dementia, liaising with Operational Teams and our health colleagues to leave hospital and receive an assessment. Along with the care home role, preparing care plans, liaising with professionals and planning rota and service delivery, Hillside Care Centre also offers the Manager the opportunity to be part our Talk Community offer. This role with Hillside Care Centre is a great opportunity to manage a team. Experience of working in health or social care is essential, preferably with a Level 5 Health & Social Care qualification. Ongoing training will be included free of charge as part of a comprehensive induction programme. This is an excellent opportunity to develop new skills with ongoing opportunities for further career development. Access to a car and driving license are essential.
