Birmingham Adult Education Service – Adult Learning Tutor

(Variable Hours)

£23.03 - £29.81 per hour

Fixed term Contract – 31.07.2022

We are looking for qualified, experienced and enthusiastic teachers to join our team for classes planned in 2021/2022

We are currently looking for teachers in IT, Cookery, SEND, English, ESOL, Korean and Dutch. If you teach other subjects and have the teaching qualifications/experience teaching adults, please do submit your application, as the demand in courses changes through the year and we may have new vacancies.

You must hold a full teaching qualification (Level 5), English and Maths (Level 2), and a relevant subject qualification (Level 3 minimum).

For ESOL position applicants must also hold or be working towards a subject specialist qualification (Level 4/5).

Please clearly state the subject or subjects you are applying to teach at the top of your personal statement in the application form.

Previous applicants who have applied within the past 12 months need not apply.
