Job Details
This is a fixed term post to 16th December 2022 to cover maternity.
Come and join our dedicated, hardworking teaching team. Choose to move to a school that will support your career development and ensure that you are supported with quality CPD.
We are looking to appoint a fixed term teacher. This vacancy is ideal for someone already with a proven track record in raising standards as a high-quality classroom teacher.
We are a three-form entry school, a Federated Infant & Junior, judged Good at our last Ofsted. Our unique characteristics as a school are our commitment to Irresistible Learning which puts a creative curriculum at the heart of all that we do. We have a culture of collaborative learning and utilise ‘Talk for Writing’ to create lively age appropriate writing opportunities. We provide practical, inspiring and memorable learning. We use NCETM and Power Maths resources to support our mathematics teaching. We’ve worked hard developing our non-core curriculum. It is based on a mix of both knowledge and skills alongside our own experiences and life skills that we aspire all our children to experience. Our assessment systems are effective and manageable and we think carefully about workload. There is a wealth of in-house experience to support your development.
We are extremely proud of our safeguarding and day to day practice around school, keeping children safe; and working with families. You will really feel that what you do on a daily basis is highly positive, and makes a difference to children’s lives.
We are proud of our school and we offer a vibrant and stimulating learning environment. We really do have the most fantastic pupils with excellent behaviour and attitudes to learning. As a staff team, we are always looking at ways to support work life balance.
We welcome and encourage any interested candidates to come and visit our school. So please contact the school office to arrange a visit. School tours are booked for Thursday 23rd September 2021 at 9.00am and Tuesday 28th 2021 at 4.00pm.
