Mesty Croft Primary wish to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly and motivated existing Lunchtime Team. The successful candidate will provide a high level of care for all of the children at our school during school lunchtimes.

You will take responsibility for the pupil’s welfare, safety and supervision during the lunch break. Experience in a school environment is desirable but not essential.

Duties include: supervising and assisting children whilst they eat lunch, ensuring children are safe, happy and well-behaved during lunchtime, supervising children outside on the playground or in classrooms throughout lunchtime and administering basic first aid (if required).

The successful candidate will have: -

  • a good level of spoken and written English
  • be reliable and flexible
  • have energy and initiative and can actively contribute to a happy, safe and supportive environment
  • will work positively and constructively within their team and with other colleagues
  • will promote our core values and ethos

Hours - 1 hours per day (5 hours per week) term time only 


Grade 2, points 1 - 3 £17,842 - £18,562 pro rata 


Start date: ASAP as soon as clearances are received
