Caslon Primary Community School is a single form entry school with on-site Daycare and Nursery provision located in Cradley on the outskirts of Halesowen. We have an exciting opportunity of opening up Beech Tree SEMH base. The base will have space for 12 children. We will be creating a new team to embark on this next journey in supporting children with varying SEMH needs.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant for Pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health - 4 Posts

Hours: 32.5 per week, term time only

Salary: Grade 5

Summary of the role:

To work within a 12 place SEMH unit attached to a one form entry primary school under the guidance of a teacher. To implement work programmes for individuals/groups which could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas. Assisting the whole planning cycle and the management/ preparation of resources. 

We require applicants to have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and experience of working in a primary school with pupils with SEMH difficulties. 

Please note that all posts will be fixed term contracts for two years.

Short Listing will take place on Friday 1st October and interviews will be held during week commencing 4th October 2021.
