We have an exciting opportunity of opening up Beech Tree SEMH base. The base will have space for 12 children. We will be creating a new team to embark on this next journey in supporting children with varying SEMH needs.

Wellbeing and Enrichment HLTA for Pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health
Hours: 32.50 per week, term time only
Salary: Grade 7
Summary of the Role:
To take a pro-active role as a key member of a new team within a 12 place SEMH base. Working directly with pupils and colleagues while building strong and positive relationships with parents. Organise, plan and resource a wide variety of enrichment activities to enhance the learning experience of pupils. To support the professional work of teachers in delivering programmes of work and taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. Specifically planning and delivering social, emotional, mental health sessions and resourcing for classes, under the direction of our teacher and base manager.
We require applicants to have a Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification and experience of working in a primary school with pupils with SEMH difficulties.
Please note that the post will be a fixed term contract for two years.
