Finance/Admin Assistant – Westwood College (part of The Talentum Learning Trust) term time permanent contract, grade 3 – salary £18,562 gross per annum. (Term time is £16,048 per annum pro-rata)

Position: Finance/Admin Assistant

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Permanent, term Time, (45.08 weeks)

Hours: 1 post 37 hours per week

Pay: Grade 3 Pay Point 3 - salary: £18,562 per annum, £9.62 per hour

Location: Westwood College; however, you may on occasions be required to cover duties at other schools across the Trust

The Talentum Learning Trust consists of 9 schools based in Leek and the beautiful surroundings of the Staffordshire Moorlands. Westwood College is a well-established and successful 13-19 secondary school and shares a joint sixth form with Leek High School.

Are you reliable, enthusiastic and trustworthy? Can you work on your own initiative whilst being a supportive team player? We are seeking to appoint a full time Finance/Admin Assistant to join our team at Westwood College.

This is a busy and varied role within the Admin team providing support to the school. Duties will include processing orders, invoices, posting cash received onto the finance system, dealing with queries and responsibility for administering the Parent Pay system. Administration duties will include supporting the Office Manager and wider team with other general office tasks including photocopying, emailing and data entry. Excellent communication skills, along with good IT experience and understanding of the basic financial tasks are essential, prior experience of working within a school environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given to the right applicant.
