Clerical Assistants – Westwood College (part of The Talentum Learning Trust) term time permanent contracts, grade 1 – salary £17,842 gross per annum. 2 posts available: 1 x 37 hours @ £15,426 pro rata and 1 x 18.5 hours @ £7,713 pro rata
Position: Clerical Assistants
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Permanent, term Time, (45.08 weeks)
Hours: 1 post 37 hours per week & 1 post 18.5 hours per week
Pay: Grade 1 Pay Point 1 - salary: £17,842 per annum, £9.25 per hour
Location: Westwood College; however, you may on occasions be required to cover duties at other schools across the Trust
The Talentum Learning Trust consists of 9 schools based in Leek and the beautiful surroundings of the Staffordshire Moorlands. Westwood College is a well-established and successful 13-19 secondary school and shares a joint sixth form with Leek High School.
Are you reliable, enthusiastic and trustworthy? Can you work on your own initiative whilst being a supportive team player? We are seeking to appoint both a full time Clerical Assistant and a part time Clerical Assistant to join our team at Westwood College.
This is a busy and varied role within the Admin team providing front facing support to the school. Duties will include answering the telephone, dealing with students and parents alongside other general office tasks including photocopying, emailing and data entry. Excellent communication skills along with IT experience are essential, prior experience of working within a school environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given to the right applicant.
