Position: Site Technician - Janitor

Hours: 37 hours per week

Pay: Grade 3 Pay Point 3 - salary: £18,562 per annum, £9.62 per hour

Location: Westwood College; however, you may on occasions be required to cover duties at other schools across the Trust

The Talentum Learning Trust consists of 9 schools based in Leek and the beautiful surroundings of the Staffordshire Moorlands. Westwood College is a well-established and successful 13-19 secondary school and shares a joint sixth form with Leek High School.

Are you reliable, enthusiastic and trustworthy? Can you work on your own initiative whilst being a supportive team player? We are seeking to appoint a full time Janitor to join our team at Westwood College.

This is a busy and varied role providing caretaking, general maintenance/plumbing/DIY tasks and cleaning duties, locking and unlocking of the site and site security checks on a weekend rota basis. To succeed you will need to be hardworking, reliable with a flexible and practical approach. Previous experience would be advantageous but not essential.
