Office Support Manager – Westwood College (part of The Talentum Learning Trust) term time + 2 weeks permanent contract, grade 7 – salary £23,541 gross per annum. (Term time is £21,391 per annum pro-rata)
Position: Office Support Manager
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Permanent, term Time + 2 weeks, (47.38 weeks)
Hours: 1 post 37 hours per week
Pay: Grade 7 Pay Point 15 - salary: £23,541 per annum, £12.20 per hour
Location: Westwood College; however, you may on occasions be required to cover duties at other schools across the Trust
The Talentum Learning Trust consists of 9 schools based in Leek and the beautiful surroundings of the Staffordshire Moorlands. Westwood College is a well-established and successful 13-19 secondary school and shares a joint sixth form with Leek High School.

This is a challenging and varied role that lends itself to an individual who has excellent communication skills, experience of leading and managing a team of staff, good financial acumen and an ability to prioritise and manage a wide variety of tasks. Previous experience of working in a busy office environment and managing staff is essential and prior experience of working in a school would be an advantage but is not essential.
Duties will include line management and support of the admin team, supporting the Headteacher and wider school, overseeing financial functions including working with the Central Finance Team and Headteacher to set and manage the school budget alongside administration for the Local Governing Body. You will also be required to attend Resource Committee meetings. Excellent communication and IT skills, along with relevant financial experience are essential.
