We are looking to employ a Sixth Form Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will work in our large sixth form team alongside another administrator, the Head of Sixth Form, Heads of Years 12 and 13 and four Assistant Heads of Year. This job has variety, plenty of interaction with delightful 16-18 year olds, and many opportunities to develop your skills in areas beyond the core administrative aspects. You will be an integral and vital part of a vibrant, very forward-thinking team - all located in the heart of the school. We guarantee that you will be very busy and we promise it won’t be dull!

Key responsibilities will involve delivering administrative support to the Sixth Form Team and 600 sixth form students, data entry, absence monitoring and recording, the administration of the school calendar and website, admin support during August GCSE and A level Results Days, assisting with the marketing of the Sixth Form, and the planning, administration and set up of major school events (e.g. Open Evenings).

Administrative staff are also encouraged to get involved beyond the normal day to day, should they wish to, with activities such as DofE expeditions, ski trips and other extra-curricular aspects of school life.

Training will be offered in all aspects of the job as well as the potential for training in new aspects as yet unknown - there are further opportunities to develop the role for the right candidate.
