There is a new and exciting opportunity to join Worcestershire Children First’s expanding Outreach Team

Worcestershire Children First’s Outreach Team provides specialist support to young people living in supported living and Supported Boarding placements across Worcestershire. We set very high standards and this is reflected by all the positive outcomes we achieve for the Young people we support. We are currently recruiting for the position of Assistant Manager. You will be an experienced practitioner in working with young people and hold Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.

The team currently consists of 23 Outreach Workers and manage 38 In House Supported Living and Supported Board and Lodgings Placements.

The successful candidate will require strong leadership skills as well as knowledge and experience of working within an exciting and demanding team. They will need to have the ability to recognise, acknowledge and have regard to confidential and sensitive matters. Being able to be flexible and working well under pressure to meet the needs of the service will also be critical.

The role is full time (37 hours) and requires working on a shift pattern including weekend working and sleep in shifts.

The salary for the role is £27,741-£29,599
