Strategy and Development Officer

37 hours per week

Secondment or Fixed Term Contract for 10 months

An exciting opportunity has arisen which means that we are seeking to recruit a Strategy and Development Officer on a secondment or fixed term basis for ten months.  

Reporting to the Delivery Lead - Education Services Development, you will be part of a small team supporting colleagues to monitor, plan and deliver activities to ensure Education Services are fit for purpose, operate effectively and achieve their outcomes.  Working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and innovative thinking in a fast-paced environment.  You will also play a key role in helping shape, influence and deliver an ambitious Education Strategy across Education Services. 

 

You will need to demonstrate an ability to think strategically, to develop strategy, and have experience of progressing complex and ambiguous ideas into something more concrete. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information and recommendations in a clear manner to a range of audiences.

In terms of experience, you will:

  • Be highly organised and with an inquisitive mind for researching new ways of doing things.
  • Show strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills as well as a highly developed collaborative nature.
  • Communicate information in a simple, straightforward manner, draw meaningful conclusions, and make business recommendations based on the findings.
  • Have a commitment to delivering high quality services.
  • Have experience of project management.
