About Us
Warwickshire County Council County Highways undertake routine highway maintenance schemes/works. These teams are based at two offices, one in Coleshill, North Warwickshire and one also at Budbrooke, near Warwick. Both offices have extremely busy, hard-working and customer focused teams, who undertake a variety of routine highway maintenance functions across the county of Warwickshire.
We are looking for 1 Technical Assistant to work within each Client Team at Budbrooke and Coleshill (2 posts).
The Roles
Joining our established teams and travelling across the county as necessary, you’ll be working in a front line highways maintenance customer service environment undertaking an interesting mix of highway works, managing customers and the demands of the service.
Key Requirements
To be successful you’ll need good routine highway maintenance experience; good communication skills both verbal and written; planning and organising and IT skills. In addition you’ll have an NVQ Level 3 or either two years’ experience in dealing with a variety of highways works.
