Job Details
King Edward VI College, Stourbridge is a sixth form college and a member of the Heart of Mercia Multi-academy Trust. The College specialises in the delivery of A levels for 16- to 19-year-olds, offering a broad curriculum with extensive enrichment opportunities. The College is a vibrant, inclusive community with over 2000 students from a variety of cultural and social backgrounds, all united in their enthusiasm for learning.
We seek a dynamic, creative and energetic individual for the exciting role of Head of Enrichment to oversee a new phase of evolution of our enrichment offer.
The Head of Enrichment will proactively develop, implement, and oversee an inclusive and comprehensive enrichment programme of activities for all students to complement their programme of study. The Head of Enrichment will ensure the programme of activities is relevant to student needs and interests and that the programme is broad and diverse, including courses that meet regularly for a defined period in addition to focussed, one-off events that may extend students’ academic experience in cross-curricula, multi-disciplinary or complementary ways.
The College is fully committed to supporting all members of staff through staff development and in-service training.
This is a permanent, part-time (25 hours per week), term-time only role, subject to the conditions of service handbook of the Sixth Form Colleges Association. Salary will be paid on the Sixth Form Colleges Association support staff pay scale 7 - 11 which is currently £11,274.55 – £12,878.01 per annum based on 25 hours per week.
