SENIOR ASSET MANAGEMENT OFFICER

- Grade G10 Salary: £37,890 - £42,821
An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced asset management or property management surveyor within our Asset Management Team. We are looking for a talented, self-motivated individual who has the relevant experience and skills to meet the challenges required for this post.
The successful candidate will support the Team Leader in the management of the Council’s property portfolio including negotiating leases, rent reviews for land / premises, review of charging policies, collection of rents and debts, land disposals and acquisitions, whilst ensuring that the property portfolio is appropriate and suitable for the needs of service delivery across directorates in accordance with the Strategic Asset Plan.
You should have significant experience of successfully managing and delivering a property portfolio in relation to valuation, disposal and acquisition as well as the ability to work well within a team environment as well as in isolation on certain projects.
A Degree and Post Graduate Qualification in Property Management or equivalent is required, as is Chartered Membership of RICS.
