Salary: £23,541 - £27,041

Full time - 32.5 hours per week, term time only

A full time Communication Support Worker HI (CSW) is required for 32.5 hours a week within the Hearing Impairment Team to start as soon as possible.  The person appointed will be part of the Specialist Support Service and will be supporting a deaf pupil in the Blythe Bridge area of the County.  A recognised qualification in British Sign Language at level 2 and an understanding of the needs of a hearing impaired pupil is essential.  As a member of the above Service, you may be required to work elsewhere at the discretion of the Head of Service.

Our large centrally based Team consists of Specialist Teachers, Communication Support Workers, Deaf Role Models, and an ICT Support Technician.  We support children and young people 0-25 with a sensory loss in a variety of settings including homes, nurseries, mainstream schools, colleges, and specialist provision.  We maintain a strong commitment to multi-agency working, inclusive education, high standards of attainment, and quality of life experiences for all our pupils.
