Permanent Educational Psychologist posts
Pay scale – EP Soulbury A points 3 – 8 plus up to 3 SPA points where applicable.
Staffordshire Educational Psychology Service is looking for ambitious, creative and reflective educational psychologists to support staff in schools and settings at an organisational level, and use an assess-plan-do-review model to help children thrive.
We are respected and valued within the authority and we offer a mixed model of traded and centrally commissioned work including collaborative consultation, assessment, training, and development work. The posts involve working with schools, Early Years settings and FE providers and a range of stakeholders.
Staffordshire provides an attractive working environment with mixed urban and rural catchments. We are a friendly, supportive service that prioritises wellbeing, effective change management and the application of psychology.
We offer access to a flexi-time system, agile working, smart phone, laptop and ICT support, management and peer supervision. Staffordshire pays essential car user allowance and has a generous annual leave entitlement.
We would like to recruit permanent, full-time main-grade Educational Psychologists to work in the authority in one of the four bases in Stafford, Lichfield, Newcastle or Burton.
Applicants must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), or, in the case of trainee EPs, expect to be eligible for registration on completion of their recognised training course. We will consider applications from trainee EPs completing their training in their 3rd year of training.
