Job Details
Job Title: Public Health Commissioning & Development - 18 months fixed term (permanent position opportunity may be available)
Hours: Part time – 18.5 hours per week
Salary: Grade 11 (39,881) pro rata
Base: Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council/flexible covid-19 working
We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual who is committed to supporting the commissioning of high-quality services. We welcome applications from candidates who have an interest in the current public health and wellbeing landscape, particularly concerning children and young people.
Working as a member of the Public Health team, the role will focus on the commissioning of children and young people’s wellbeing services. The role will be required to work collaboratively with a wide range of partner agencies and providers such as education, community, voluntary, health services and others who serve Dudley’s children and young people and create pathways and ensure that services are reflective of local need.
You will need to have a degree or equivalent professional qualification in commissioning or related field and be highly self-motivated. You will need to be an excellent communicator, be able to promote and engage in positive partnership working with an array of different individuals, stakeholders and groups and have an in-depth knowledge of the commissioning cycle.
