Teachers mainscale M1-M6  plus TLR 2c. (£28,587 - £39,834)

 

Student Engagement Programme Team works with challenging and vulnerable learners across Telford and Wrekin.  We support students back into school and education. We work from three non-school based sites to support the needs of the learners referred to us from our local schools.

Our ethos is based around supporting the learner to access education in a conducive learning environment suitable to their needs and help prepare them to access mainstream or Post 16 education.  Social, Emotional Health and Mental Well-being is at the forefront of the support we give to learners, their families and schools.

The role of Learning Co-ordinator will work with the Senior Leadership team, tutors and TA’s  to support and deliver the wide and varied curriculum on offer to our learners.  The Learning Co-ordinator will also have responsibility for a range of tasks that support the work of the SLT. 

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative qualified teacher to join our team who has leadership and quality assurance experience.  The successful candidate will also need to be able to Positive.

  • Working positively with challenging students is essential for this post.
  • A calm and patient approach.
  • Planning and delivery of vocational curriculum units.
  • A good understanding of Functional Skills English and Maths.
  • The ability to form positive working relationships.
  • Supportive of vulnerable learners.
  • Experienced in dealing with and supporting challenging behaviours.
