The hours are 08.30 am - 4.30 pm Monday, Tuesday & Thursday. 08.30 am - 5.00 pm on a Wednesday and 08.30 am - 3.30 pm on a Friday. Actual Salary: £18,073. To start in post by Monday 15th November 2021
Hednesford Valley High is a generic secondary special school catering for a wide range of students. This role involves working with students, staff, families and professionals to support good behaviour in the school and the community.
This post will require excellent communication skills to work with a wide range of SEN students. You need to be able to use ICT skills to monitor and log information and produce analysis reports to present to the Senior Leadership Team. To work with a range of staff to develop strategies to support students to change their behaviour.
We require a positive person to work with students in school, leading the Student Leadership Team, working with Prefects and running the after-school Youth Club. You may be required to do home visits and transport students when required, therefore a clean full driving licence is essential. You will need to be involved in physical restraint at times.
