Strategic Asset Manager Salary: £36,891 to £40,312 Job ref: WH21 980 Permanent 37 hours per week
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the asset management strategy and embedding robust asset management practices. This will ensure that the future investment in the social housing portfolio under our management meets the needs of the city’s communities and delivers value for money.
You will work within our recently formed Building Safety team, to ensure that asset management decision making drives the capital investment programme.

Job Purpose and Role: This role will ensure Wolverhampton Homes maintains a robust asset management strategy to meet ensure continuous investment on the housing assets under Wolverhampton Homes management, to meet the future needs of the city’s communities, make smart investment decisions and deliver value for money. The post holder will develop and implement a robust data collection strategy and use a range of modelling techniques and metrics to inform future investment planning and budget setting. The role also ensures the company has detailed knowledge of its full stock portfolio and that this data is fully utilised to inform option appraisals and estate regeneration & investment decisions. The post holder will be required to work collaboratively across a range of multi-disciplined teams, with external stakeholders and partners.
