TEACHING ASSISTANT Level 3 – To work as part of our extended schools provision and 2 year old setting

Contract Term: Temporary contract (in the first instance) - 1 Year until 31/08/2022

Hours: 25 hours per week - 7.30 – 12.30  - Term Time 

Start: As soon as possible

JOB OVERVIEW

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to support teaching and learning opportunities at Offmore Primary School. This role is varied, and will begin within our ‘Go Beyond’ wrap around care and then involve supporting our youngest children within our every growing ‘Duckling’ setting. We are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual who is confident to lead small group sessions with children and work within a team of enthusiastic staff. JOB

REQUIREMENTS:

 Working with children from EYFS, KS1 and KS2 within our ‘Go Beyond’ wrap around care, providing children with a stimulating start to their learning day.

 Working within our EYFS Duckling setting, preparing and carrying out planned activities and communicating with families in regards to their child’s day.

 The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the recent changes to the EYFS curriculum and why these changes have been made.

 Supporting individuals with EHC plans.

 Supporting assessment and evidencing learning.

 Working with the teacher to create stimulating classroom displays and learning resources.

 Maintaining a safe and positive environment for all learners.

 Creating opportunities for all learners to reach their potential, irrespective of ability.
