Teaching Assistants Level 1 & 2
We are seeking to appoint a number of Level 1 and Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join our hardworking and dedicated staff team at Brooke School. The successful candidates will take responsibility for supporting young people’s specific learning and development needs.
33.0 Hours per Week
The successful candidates will have experience of working within an educational setting, hold or working towards an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) and can demonstrate:
•The ability to support pupils to reach their full potential in a Special Needs setting
•Maintenance of appropriate records in line with School systems
•Creativity and versatility in engaging children in their learning by creating appropriate resources
•The ability to respond to the needs of the children they are responsible for
•Recognition of potential barriers to learning and how to overcome them
•Supporting the Class Teacher with preparation, display and general classroom duties, including the organisation and development of class planning
•A proven track record of working as part of a team
