Job Title: Administrative/ Finance Assistant
Salary: £15,658 – £15,971
Part-Time: 30 hours
Location: Exmoor Drive, in Bromsgrove
Temporary: 12 months


The Role

Exmoor Drive, in Bromsgrove, is a 12 bedded residential service, registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide care and support to adults with learning Disabilities. We provide both long and short term residential placements.

Your main duties will include;

• Financial processes - auditing, following financial safeguarding regulations, retrieving quotes, setting up purchase orders, petty and other cash reconciliation, maintaining accounts.
• Responding to requests from the senior support worker and management team.
• Auditing stock levels and ordering essential equipment including Personal Protective Equipment.
• Word processing meeting minutes and other documentation.
• Handling and auditing data storage in line with regulation
• Responding to information requests
• There are also newly required administrative duties associated with Coronavirus safety involved in staff and visitor testing.

You will have excellent customer service skills and maintain a polite, positive and pro-active approach to all who contact the service. You will ensure safety by following visitor and data protection guidance. You are often the first point of contact for the service and need to make a good first impression.

You will have strong proficiency in using I.T systems including Microsoft suite of programs and ability and willingness to use some of our in house systems.

You will be supported by the team Residential Support Workers, Domestic Assistant, Seniors, Deputy and a Manager.

You will receive training in the form of a comprehensive induction, followed up by training in any particularly relevant areas. You will receive regular supervision.
