3 permanent posts across the centres

The Centres provides both long- and short-term care for vulnerable adults in a residential setting.

They  also consist of other business areas, working in partnership with Health and local community groups. The Senior Catering and Facilities post is an integral part of working alongside the existing housekeeping staff to ensure that the fabric of the building is maintained, consisting of routine cleaning of all areas within the building ensuring that safe working practices are maintained in line with Health and Safety Legislation. This includes undertaking ancillary duties such as routine, deep and terminal cleans on the residential units and checking that the standard of work meets the expectations of the Organisation and the other partners that work within the Centres. It will involve the day to day supervision of Catering and Facilities Assistants by direct observation and the completion of audits and checks.

The successful candidate will address or escalate any work issues in the absence of the Facilities Manager and work closely with the Residential senior staff to ensure that service needs are met. The role requires flexibility and a commitment to a varied rota which includes working days, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays in accordance with service needs.

Please note that due to new legislation, successful candidates will need to provide evidence that they have had their two COVID Vaccinations prior to the date of the interview.
