It’s an exciting time to be a part of Ark Chamberlain, which joined the Ark network in September 2015. Join us on our transformative journey and have a real impact on the lives of our pupils. The school which boasts outstanding facilities, including a brand new state-of-the-art science lab and a fully-functioning sound recording studio.

We are looking to recruit a Primary Teacher (KS2) to join us on our journey towards outstanding.  You will play a pivotal role in a committed team and make a real impact on the outcomes of our pupils. This is a 1 year fixed term maternity contract.

At Ark Chamberlain, staff wellbeing and professional development is a priority and we encourage rest and relaxation for our staff. This includes leaving before 5pm on a Friday, not answering emails outside of work hours and one afternoon off per week for lesson preparation.

We strive for exemplary behaviour from all our pupils; the fundamentals of which are displayed on school whiteboards around the site. This ensures every pupil knows what’s expected of them, so teachers can concentrate on teaching, and pupils can focus on learning.

Our school has a supportive staff community; group meetings and planning sessions all enable teachers to collaborate and help one another. Our sense of community is also reinforced by activities such as communal singing and a staff breakfast on Fridays. Hard work is celebrated communally at Ark Chamberlain, with staff nominations for a ‘colleague of the week’. Recognition is key to making our school a truly rewarding place to work.
