Residential Night Attendant
A position has arisen for a Residential Waking Nights Attendant in the homely, residential provision of the school known as Sleepover Club.
Salary: SET Grade 5 Scale Points 16 – 20 £19,698 - £20,903 FTE salary per annum, Pro Rata Salary £9,701 - £10,295 per annum, (£12,934 - £13,726 per annum, including night allowance. To Be Confirmed)
Hours: Two 10 ½ waking nights (currently Wednesday and Thursday). Fixed Term contract until 21st July 2022 in the first instance.
Required: as soon as possible.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic person to work with our dedicated team to support the requirements of our special needs pupils. This will include attending to personal and intimate care, administration of medication and enteral feeds (training will be given), putting pupils to bed and getting them up in the morning, carrying out regular checks throughout the night, record keeping and some housekeeping tasks.
The successful candidate will be pupil focused and have the desire and ability to support all of our students with care and mutual respect. You will be able to work as part of a team with energy and enthusiasm and be keen to learn and develop. You will have a strong commitment to improving the lives of our pupils and ensuring that they are happy, comfortable, safe and ready to learn
A relevant Level 3 child centred qualification, preferably in Health and Social Care is required to meet ‘The National Minimum Standards for Residential Special Schools’. We can provide relevant training for the right, committed candidate if necessary.

The position is subject to a criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) which will require you to disclose details of all unspent and unfiltered spent reprimands, formal warnings, cautions and convictions in your application form
