About us:

The Tanworth in Arden Academy Trust comprises a primary school and nursery located in the picturesque village of Tanworth in Arden in South Warwickshire. 

The position is in our Nursery where we provide a warm friendly environment where all children are encouraged to achieve and thrive to their full potential and where nursery life is fun, relaxed and positive.  The setting provides childcare for 38 children from 2 to 5 years of age.  The nursery is privately run but attached to the school forming a close link and strong relationship benefiting both parties.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Nursery Nurse's on planning and preparation of activities, to meet children’s individual needs, liaising with parents and negotiating working targets ensuring effective communication within the nursery.
  • Keeping of development records and observations
  • The care and supervision of the children with regard to their physical, emotional and intellectual needs.
  • Preparation, care, cleanliness and maintenance of the playroom and equipment.

What we need from you?

  • Passion and commitment for working in childcare
  • Ability to work shifts between 7.45am-5.45 pm Monday to Friday. We are currently looking at recruiting for Tuesday 8.45am-5.45pm, Wednesday 8.45am-5.45pm and Friday 7.45am-5.15pm. Term time only plus inset days.
  • Commitment to continual development
  • NVQ level 2 or 3

Salary commensurate with experience and qualification.
