 Catering Supervisor

Salary:  £19,312 - £19,698 per annum (pro rata)

Actual Salary £11,223 - £11,448 

Scale: Grade 4 

Hours: 25 hours per week 

Contract Type: Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Are you an exceptional cook, passionate about providing children with healthy meal choices? If so, this role could be for you!

Set in the delightful village of Colwich, we are a small, friendly and popular primary school. We are dedicated to providing a broad and balanced curriculum as well as the knowledge and support to allow our children to flourish as happy and healthy individuals.

Currently our successful kitchen serves over 90 lunches each day. We are seeking a highly organised and experienced catering supervisor to ensure that all our children receive a healthy and nutritionally balanced meal every day.

The catering coordinator's responsibilities will include:

  • planning menus
  • preparing, cooking and presenting meals
  • working to a budget
  • liaising with vendors
  • supervising staff
  • ensuring that the kitchen meets health and safety standards.

To be successful in this role, you should be innovative and passionate about food.  You must be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of practical cooking, effective communication skills and the ability to lead and work as part of a team.
