Worcestershire Children First deliver Children’s Services on behalf of Worcestershire County Council.
Supporting Families First are an innovative Safeguarding team who are looking for candidates who will keep relentless focus on positive outcomes for our children and young people. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, all working together to help families to stay together. We develop confident and dynamic practitioners to work collaboratively in a strengths-based approach with families to enable lasting and positive change.
You will support young people to be happy, healthy and live safely within their families. You will help families look at their daily structure to create positive interaction with their children.
You will run individual and group activities, as well as creating links with local activities and centres, working with local partners who provide activities for young people and engaging with schools, colleges.
The service consists of Outreach workers, Youth mentors, Money mentor, Substance misuse workers, Emotional health & well-being workers, Advanced social work practitioners, a Clinical lead , all supported by dedicated administration staff.
We will provide you with peer and management support alongside individual and group reflective supervisions to support you in the role.

All roles are full time (35 hours per week) permanent posts. All roles will have a base with county-wide travel required.
