The Civil Enforcement Officer role is critical to the smooth running of the City, from issuing parking advise and environmental advice.  Issuing Penalty Charge notices for parking offences and Fixed Penalty notices for littering, along with enforcing the City Centre PSPO Roll and we are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, who has experience in a similar role or is keen to learn.

Excellent team working, communication and a good level of IT skills are required for the role, along with the ability to remain calm when interacting with the public.  You will be exceptional at working with people to ensure that standards are upheld, firm but fair. You will thrive learning new systems and undertaking continued professional service delivery and will love a challenge.

Working hours are 37 per week and include weekends and bank holidays, evenings and early mornings. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good standard of written and spoken English (Level 2)
  • A full UK driving license
  • Willingness to undertake training
