Job Details

The HR Resourcing Team is part of an Organisational Development Service providing an efficient and professional customer focussed service across the council, schools and academies.

Hours: 37 per week (Monday - Friday) Fixed Term until 31.03.2022

Salary: Grade 5 (£20,092- £21,749) per annum

We are looking to recruit a HR Resourcing Administrator to join the existing team to support recruiting managers through the recruitment life cycle.

What you will do:

  • Provide advice for resourcing enquiries from candidates & recruiting managers
  • Assist and advise recruiting managers/schools with the use of an online applicant tracking system for online vacancy creation and approvals
  • Support recruiting managers through the selection process from advert to appointment
  • Have a large caseload of vacancies to process from advert to appointment
  • Complete pre-employment checks as part of the appointment to include any regulatory checks applicable to the role
  • Issue the relevant documentation for new appointments
  • Creation of new appointments onto the HR System within the necessary deadlines for payroll processing

What you will need to bring to the role:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills 
  • The ability to manage your own workload, to organise and prioritise a wide range of administrational tasks on a daily basis
  • Confidence in advising and influencing managers to use innovative and appropriate recruitment and selection methods to attract and hire the best quality candidates to Dudley Council.
  • To provide an outstanding service to candidates
  • A good working knowledge of IT applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
