Are you passionate about green spaces and their potential to improve health?
We are looking for someone to join our integrated service to deliver environmental and health improvement across Walsall, including Walsall’s expanse of green spaces, parks, countryside, waterways, urban forestry and other community settings.
Public Health Community Support Officer – Ref: EE03321
Salary Grade 6: £23,541 - £27,741 per annum
Full-Time (37 hours per week), Permanent.
The post is based at 200 Pelsall Road, Brownhills, Walsall, WS8 7EN.
In this role you will support the delivery of operations and evidence based programmes across a variety of ‘green’ settings whilst engaging with stakeholders to understand health needs that will inform service provision.
You will facilitate the delivery of universal health improvement programmes to varying audiences and support the delivery of volunteer training to enable others to actively engage with communities to promote health and wellbeing.
