Children’s Social Worker – Duty and Assessment or Family Safeguarding

Qualified Social Worker - PO2: £32,234 - £34,728
Experienced Social Worker - PO3: £32,910 - £35,745

Plus market factor payment of £2500 for social workers 2 years post qualified and Golden Hello payment of £5,000 for all experienced social workers commencing in post as new employees of T&WC.

Essential car user allowance, free on-site parking and full reimbursement of your annual Social Work England registration fee.

You will have regular, quality supervision with your line manager.

As an experienced Social Worker, you will manage a complex and varied caseload, having autonomy in your day to day practice.

You will need to consistently model good practice, setting expectations for others.

We are seeking knowledgeable and skilled, effective practitioners, which have been developed through formal post-qualifying training and development activity.

You will need to have post qualifying experience in children’s social care, including safeguarding children, assessment and support planning, and the implementation of interventions to improve outcomes for children and families within the borough. 

Experience of consistent exceptional application of legislation and best practice within complex case work is essential for the role.
