We are currently looking for an experienced Nursery Officer to work within our nursery school, who is dedicated and is an effective team worker who is committed to developing exciting learning experiences for young children. The role includes working alongside the Development Matters 2021 framework. This includes setting up activities for children to take part in, meet and greet parents and provide them with feedback on their child’s time at the nursery. Supervising the children, ensuring their safety at all times, engaging with them in aspects of play and conversation, Good oral, written communication and IT skills are essential to able to communicate effectively with children, staff and parents. Nursery Officers are responsible for maintaining children’s learning journeys and development records. We require candidates who are passionate about caring for children’s needs, confident working with small groups of children including children with additional needs as well as being a strong flexible team player.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
