Senior Procurement Advisor
The Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) Procurement Team, lead on complex, strategic, high-value and high-profile procurements.
An SEO Senior Procurement Advisor role exists to enable delivery of key projects and management of important contractual activities. This will involve working with stakeholders at all levels from across the department.
As part of a small dynamic team, you’ll be involved in a variety of projects including large, complex high value/above threshold procurements under the full regulatory procedures as well as running mini-competitions and sub threshold procedures for key policy areas; play an important role in ‘triaging’ requirements for onward delivery by CCS and will help to shape the future of the commercial function.
•Compliant delivery of procurements in line with UK Public Contracts Regulations and other regulations, best practise and procurement legislation; including via fully regulated competitions, below threshold competitions and framework call offs
•Sound procurement advice to Policy leads on routes to market and contract management matters, defining solutions to deliver value for money
•Leading and/or supporting a range of projects throughout all stages of the procurement life cycle
•Utilising and maintaining procurement management system
•Working collaboratively with CCS
- Running procurements through a variety of frameworks, including Management Consultancy Framework and Management Consultancy Framework 2
- Running procurements through a variety of frameworks, including G-Cloud and DOS.
