Hours: 37 per week
Working hours to be agreed with successful candidate(s) but will be between 6am and 6.15pm, Monday to Friday, on a rota basis. Very occasional weekend work may be required, but this will be either paid overtime, or time off in lieu will be provided.
Annual leave must be taken in the school holiday periods throughout the year.

The Governors of Brockmoor Primary School wish to appoint a full-time Caretaker/Site Operative to join our hard working site team from November 2021. Applications from those looking for part-time work are also welcome, as we would consider a job-share for this role.
We wish to appoint a motivated, adaptable, high calibre caretaker(s), with excellent communication skills and a good working knowledge of Health and Safety to join our team.
Candidates with a trade such as plumbing, painting/decorating, carpentry or grounds work would be desirable, although not essential as full training would be provided.
We are seeking someone who is:
- a good timekeeper,
- able to work unsupervised and as part of a team,
- takes pride in their work.

You will be required to:
- follow policy and procedures as the safeguarding, security and education of our pupils is paramount,
- be hands-on in ensuring the daily smooth running of the premises and site,
- liaise and work with the Site Manager to provide a safe and welcoming environment, which is conducive for our children to learn,
- work with the Business Manager/Site Manager to undertake an agreed schedule of proactive maintenance and checks to maintain a safe learning environment.
