• Salary; Band B     £18,562 - £19,312 (pro-rata)

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Teaching & Learning Support Assistant to support specific pupils with Education, Health Care Plans within the school.  

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed Teaching & Learning Support Assistant to join our successful school and we require applicants who; 

• can demonstrate successful experience in a Teaching & Learning Support Assistant role, including direct experience of working with pupils with additional needs such as Moderate Learning Difficulties and/or autism.  
• have a clear understanding of fulfilling the requirements of an individual pupil’s Education and Health Care Plan.  
• Is able to establish positive relationships when supporting pupils with English and Mathematical skills, promoting positive behaviour and helping develop pupil’s social, emotional and mental health needs.  
• has excellent oral, written and mathematical skills and is able to communicate effectively with pupils, staff and parents.  
• has a good working knowledge and experience of the Key Stage 2 curriculum. 
• demonstrates commitment to ensuring that pupils of all abilities achieve their full potential, especially those with additional educational needs.  
• has high expectations and a commitment to raising standards.
• has the ability to use initiative as well as being a good team member.
• demonstrates the knowledge of a range of strategies to engage pupils in their learning.
