This is a pivotal role in supporting a pupil with medical needs, providing ideas and solutions to challenge barriers to learning. Kates Hill is a multi-cultural school with happy pupils and strong partnerships with families and the local community.
Our Academy’s Trustees have approved a temporary Level 2 Teaching Assistant on a fixed term contract, initially until the end of the Academic Year to support the medical, learning and wellbeing needs of a pupil currently in Year 2 with type 1 diabetes on a one to one basis. We are looking for someone who is:
- Inspirational, with the ability to help our pupil to reach their full potential
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated, passionate and forward thinking
- Able to make a real difference to children’s lives
- Proactive, with a positive “can do” approach and a commitment to teamwork to achieve shared goals
