The Governors of this popular school are seeking to appoint a personable, efficient and committed Administration Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the school’s Headteacher and Office Manager.

We are an inclusive school where everyone is valued, respected and nurtured. 

You will be expected to provide a professional front of house reception service and efficient administrative support to the school, ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times.

A school office environment is very fast paced and varied, so the ability to prioritise your workload, whilst remaining calm and cope with interruptions are essential personal skills required to be successful in this role.

We are looking for someone who can offer the following: 

•    Work in a professional and responsible way.
•    Communicate well with all of our school community.
•    Ability to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.
•    Good standard of written English including spelling and grammar, and basic arithmetic skills.
•    Good ICT skills including use of Word and Excel.
•    Understand the importance of data protection and safeguarding in a school setting.

You will have all the essential qualifications listed in the Person Specification. You will be required to produce relevant certificates, demonstrating your qualifications, on the day of interview if you are shortlisted.

The Governing Body and the Diocese are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young persons, and the Headteacher must ensure that the highest priority is given to following the guidance and regulations to safeguard children and young persons.  The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and sign the CES contract of employment.
