Full Time Maternity Cover – Year 2 Class Teacher - 8th November start
Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher?
Do you put children’s learning, emotional and social development at the heart of everything you do?
Are you a team player who loves working with fantastic colleagues?
If the answer is yes, please come and visit us and apply! Rugby Free Primary School is a new 4-11 school which opened in September 2015 classes in a newly refurbished state of the art building in Central Park. We welcome children of all abilities and from all backgrounds. We are non-selective, non-denominational and are free for all to attend. We provide a high quality local school with an exciting curriculum and extended enrichment opportunities for our children.
We are currently looking for a Year 2 Class Teacher to provide cover for maternity leave from 8th November (mostly likely for the rest of the academic year). Our Year 2 classes are capped at 20 pupils per teacher for the core subjects of English and Maths in the mornings and move to a house group model for afternoon sessions of 30 pupils per teacher. This allows the spare teacher to cover PPA, interventions and leadership time.
As an experienced teacher, you will be able to demonstrate a record of excellent practice in the classroom, commitment to CPD and coaching others and innovative curriculum ideas. Or, as an NQT, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to your professional development and recognise this exciting opportunity which will provide a solid foundation for your career. You will be ambitious, enthusiastic and eager to embrace the opportunities that a new school in a growing Trust can offer.
The successful candidate will be supported by a senior leadership team who have the highest ambitions for the school, its children and its staff. We will support the successful candidate in their professional development and progression will be nurtured.
To arrange an informal discussion with the Headteacher/member of SLT and a tour of our school, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be delighted to arrange this.
To apply, please download the job description and person specification and fill out the application form and RFPS Refs and Monitoring form which are included in the supporting documents. These should be sent to email@example.com for the attention of Mrs Charlotte Cole (Operations Manager).
Closing date for applications: 9am Monday 18th October 2021*
Interviews: Wednesday 20th October 2021
*We reserve the right to close the application process early due to the tight timeframe for this job opportunity. Therefore, please consider applying ASAP.
