This is an exciting opportunity to join Warwickshire Fire & Rescue Service which is committed to protecting and serving our community and making Warwickshire a safer place to live and prosper. Our Service forms part of the Communities Directorate of Warwickshire County Council.

The Continuous Improvement and Change team is looking for a Business Support Officer based at our Headquarters in Warwick Street, Leamington Spa. The role involves providing and co-ordinating a range of day-to-day activities across varied workstreams.

The successful candidate will asist the team in the delivery of an effective service improvement programme by carrying out the full range of the duties of the post, including liaising with colleagues and elected members.

The post holder will support the development, implementation and on-going monitoring of the Service’s Integrated Risk Management Plan, the implementation of our People Plan, the work arising from the recent and future Fire Service Inspections, and the Service’s Business Continuity and Resilience workstreams.

The successful candidate will:

· be able to use a keyboard with precision and speed

· be able to communicate, in person and/or in writing, a variety of information to a range of people

· have sound knowledge of Information Technology, such as Microsoft applications

· have an understanding and practice of Equality and Diversity policies
