Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a building and grounds site manager to start in December 2021 or January 2022. This position is open to all suitable applicants. A Grade 3 salary will be available for candidates who are suitably qualified, and consideration will be given to previous salary and experience. The post is 30 hours per week all year round and there will be a 6-month probationary period at the start of employment.

We are seeking someone to join our team who is/has:

• self-motivated, resilient and able to work under pressure, using their initiative well

• able to organise their own schedules and take a pride in their work

• able to identify and prioritise their work effectively and independently and take constructive feedback

• friendly and approachable and able to work with others

• good basic DIY/Repair skills, decorating and gardening

This post includes cleaning and supervision of other staff. Experience in site managing within a school or other organisation will be essential. Holidays must be taken during school breaks and in consultation with the Head Teacher.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
