Quarry Bank Primary School is a popular one and half form entry primary school catering for pupils aged 2 - 11 years.  We are now seeking to appoint an Administrative/Clerical Assistant to work in our very busy modern school office/main reception.



Hours: 32.50 per week - Monday to Friday 8.00am - 3.00pm, term time only 39 weeks.

Salary: Grade 3

Required for November 2021 or as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision and guidance of the School Business Manager. The main duties will include the smooth running of the school’s day to day administrative systems ensuring continued support for the children and the teachers.  You will have previously worked in a school, or will have gained knowledge and skills as an office administrator in another industry.


The Administrative Assistant will provide/be:

  • computer literate with a willingness to learn and introduce new IT skills and office procedures.
  • experience of and confidence in dealing with members of the public in a school environment;
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • friendly and approachable, flexible, resilient and hard working;
  • a professional approach, being able to work appropriately under own initiative, on his/her own and as part of a team;
