Wake Night Enablement Worker - Lakewood Court

NJC Scale 2 £9.62 to £9.81 per hour 

36 Hours per week

Lakewood Court forms part of the My Options - Activity Wellbeing and Care Services which are part of Telford & Wrekin Council. We provide a wide range of person-centred support to vulnerable people of all ages and abilities. Lakewood Court is a purpose built Residential Home for up to 18 people based in the heart of the Wellington community, we were rated ‘GOOD’ across all 5 outcome areas in our last CQC inspection. Being purpose built we are able to offer our customers an excellent service along with a highly trained, experienced and dedicated team who will promote independence and empowerment within a homely atmosphere. We are looking to recruit experienced and highly motivated Enablement Workers to work at Lakewood Court. You will play a key role in the delivery of high quality 24/7 personalised enablement services which are delivered to adults with learning difficulties, PMLD and complex health and care needs. Supporting people to maximise independence, wellbeing and to positively engage in their local communities. You will be able to demonstrate a positive track record in all aspects of support and enablement for vulnerable people, promoting independence wellbeing and community engagement. You will have experience in and a commitment to, delivering best quality and efficiency As part of the team you will receive excellent support and training and the opportunity to develop a personalised skills development plan.

Are you passionate about breaking down barriers to support people to live a more independent and fulfilling life? This is an exciting opportunity to join our well established and highly successful team. We have had some new packages of care and are looking to grow and expand our team. You will be able to demonstrate being proactive in your approach to care and a willingness to adapt and change as we develop with to new innovations and challenges within the care sector.

Whilst previous experience is preferred, this is not essential.

About us My Options - Activity Wellbeing and Care Services is part of Telford & Wrekin Council and provides a wide range of person-centred support to over 350 people to vulnerable people of all ages and abilities. We currently provide a wide range of services including; Access to Activities for Young People, Community Activity and Wellbeing, services, Residential options, Community support for those people living in their own or shared accommodation. Our services also include a very successful Shared Lives Scheme and The Skills and Enterprise hub, where people can develop their skills and confidence as part of their stepping stone to work.
