The City of Wolverhampton Council is looking for a Paralegal Apprentice to join the Legal Services team.
Ideally you will have a genuine interest in pursuing a career as a legal professional and the council is investing over £25,000 into the training and development of this legal career apprenticeship pathway.
Throughout the apprenticeship, the successful candidate’s development will be supported by a qualification relevant to their knowledge and competencies. The post would be for a fixed term period with potential for the role to progress to the L6 Chartered Legal Executive Apprenticeship, dependent upon successful progression during the 24 months.
The successful candidate will receive on the job training and will complete the L3 Paralegal Apprenticeship You will be supported by experienced staff who can assist you with your work and study to give you the experience to apply for other roles within the council. You will also be trained to use various IT systems that support the efficient delivery of our legal services.
Applicants should have experience of general office duties and providing administration and customer service support. Experience of working in a legal office or environment would be an advantageous but is not essential. The ability to accurately input data and handle confidential information is key to this role.
