Harborne Primary School is currently a three form entry school, now expanding year on year to a full four form entry by 2024. The school is situated across two sites within a one-mile radius. We currently have a SEN Teaching Assistant vacancy, working 30 hours per week, Term Time only. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 SEN support to a KS2 pupil in addition to supporting teaching staff in the development and education of particular pupils with special needs. We are looking for a candidate who is flexible, adaptable and confident attitude and have the ability to work on their own initiative. The successful postholder must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with parents, children and staff. We will offer you a warm and friendly environment and a fully supportive leadership team. We ensure all candidates are properly police checked on appointment therefore an enhanced DBS check is required for all successful applicants as well as providing evidence of their Identity and Right to Work in the UK. All staff will report concerns through our whistle-blowing policy.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
