Our Swift Finance team are looking for a Payments Officer to join them on a fixed term basis until December 2022.

This role will provide support in the development, operation and administration of Commercial and Concessionary ticketing schemes operated by WMCA.

What will you be doing?

  • Support the development and implementation of appropriate systems relating to concessionary and commercial ticketing schemes.
  • Operation of systems to calculate accurate payments to operators for participation in Concessionary and Commercial Ticketing Schemes.
  • Produce clear and complete supporting documentation for payments for operators and the WMCA
  • Undertake audits of operator payments as required and liaise with operators regarding operation of Ticketing Schemes
  • Support the administration of Concessionary and Commercial Ticketing Schemes
  • Provision of data analysis in relation to concessionary and commercial ticketing schemes
  • Assist with ticketing reconciliations, coding of income / expenditure where required

About you

We are looking for someone that has good administration skills and is able to respond to and deal with all queries.  In addition, you will have experience of working in a Finance environment, understanding the need to maintain clear and appropriate audit trails and in following accounting procedures.

You will be able to communicate effectively and be able to manage your own workload.  It is essential that you are able to use Microsoft Office packages to a intermediate level.

Previous or current experience of administering and monitoring payment systems would be an advantage, but not essential.
